Alliance Dance Institute is excited to announce we are now the new home of the Alexandria Ballet School, and their resident company, The Alexandria Ballet. What's unique about the Alexandria Ballet School is the holistic teaching methodology developed by the school’s founder, Virginia Britton.

The Alexandria Ballet School syllabus is based on the Vaganova syllabus, and informed by a strong understanding of the body's mechanics. Students are trained with careful attention to the development of a sound technique, without sacrificing the student's organic facility.

The Alexandria Ballet School offers children's classes in Pre-Ballet with Creative Movement, Boy's classes with Creative Movement, Modern Dance I, and Spanish Dance for ages 3 through 9.
The School also offers Classical Ballet classes for students ages 9 to adult.

ADI is now accepting registration for Alexandria Ballet School for the fall semester. Classes start September 1 and runs through May 30, 2009. To see the class schedule, click here.

Don’t forget to join us in November and December for the Alexandria Ballet’s Nutcracker! A timeless tradition ideal for children and the young of heart.
