Imperial Society Review

In connection with the visit of by an Imperial Society Examiner on
June 13th and 14th (see 'Events' on this website for details,) ADI is
pleased to announce an Imperial Society Review Class in the weeks
leading up to the test dates.

Renowned Dance Guru Frank Regan
will be teaching this class, covering each of the dances covered in the
testing. This class is available as a drop-in class throughout the
month. Students who wish to attend may do so at a cost of $40 for each
double-class session.

Latin Fusion

This is a two class sequence, which provides beginning and more experienced Latin dancers to improve their dancing, and diversify their skill set. The first hour is geared toward preparing the body for the physical exertion of dance. Strengthening, toning, and stretching are emphasized in this dance exercise class. The second class focuses more directly on development of dance skills. Students are welcome to take one or both of the classes. They do not have to be taken together.

1st Class (2:00 - 3:00) Latin Fusion - Core
For all dancers, this class consists of deep warm-up exercises combined from modern dance techniques and Latin drills. Bring your yoga mat if you have one and wear comfortable dancewear. Be ready to break a sweat!

2nd Class (3:00 - 4:00) Swing (Intermediate to Advanced)
This class is geared toward intermediate level dance students, and includes advanced figures in Latin Rhythm (American Style).

Ballroom for Teens

Join kids ages 12-17 and learn the basics of Ballroom dance.

Salsa Rueda

Also known as Salsa-Casino, Rueda is Salsa danced by couples in a group. The group does beautiful salsa dance patterns and changes partners in dynamic ways. Intermediates can dance with the beginners for extra practice. Beginners can dance with the intermediates until they can't keep up.

$15 fee at the door. No partner needed.
